The bathroom is filled with the steam of hot water, making the room appear to have a hazy glow.

Jasper actually fits in the tub for once, a luxuriously large tub for a luxurious hotel room, and Alice with him, leaning back against his chest, squeezed in between his legs.

They were on Prince Edward Island for the weekend and Alice had wanted something nicer than the roadside motels (or forested areas) just outside the populated areas that Jasper favored.

And who was he to deny her anything? Especially when it has been exactly a year since they met in Philly.

He kisses the top of her head, sighing softly, happily.

He wonders if she knows it’s been a year, and that’s the reason for the weekend and the room. He wonders if she knows that he knows?

Time’s a funny thing for vampires to keep track of, and neither of them have mentioned it yet.

"There's nothing to unwrap like this," she giggles, pressing her head back into the bed, giving him more room to work.

It's true--the towel is barely wrapped around her anymore, and her fingers slide down his sides until they reach the towel at his waist, fiddling with the edge of it, slipping her fingers just under.

"I love you."

”Means I just get to enjoy my present all the sooner.”

As he sits back with a smirk to peel away the towel and reveal her naked body. His own gets tugged off and thrown to the side before he bends to press a kiss to her chest, just above her heart.

“And I love you too,” he adds, and he kisses her chest, again and again, just a brief press of lips to her skin.

She shivers again, under his lips, the tingling up her spine more from him than any chill in the air. Her hands roam, sliding down his arms, across his shoulders and into his hair.

Back down his neck, his back, desperately needing to feel him under her hands. She wants to roll them, to kiss him, to be able to touch him more. She wants to stay here, with his weight pressed against her. She wants, and she wants.

His name is a whisper as Alice shifts under him, her hands trailing back into his hair, restless and wanting.

“So restless,” Jasper laughs, and he kisses his way down to her breasts, tracing her curves of her with his mouth.

Her hands are everywhere, pulling at him, insistent. He loves it, and he loves to tease her too.

“‘M tryin’ to enjoy my gift here.”

"But I want to touch you--" Alice whines, hips shifting, pressing up against his. "Kiss you. You're too far away."

She wraps her legs around his waist, ankles crossing at the small of his back, arching herself upward, meeting his mouth with her skin.

It's not enough. She wants to reach him, kiss and touch.

“Five more minutes,” as he mouths at her breasts and licks at a nipple.

“And then you can do what you want with me.”

Because, right now -

He places lips around her pert little tip and sucks lightly.

One hand pushes through her hair, fingers tightening at the roots, the other tangled in his hair, holding him close, arching up into his mouth.

A groan leaves Alice, her breath a gasp at the sensations he causes. Five minutes seems like too long and not enough. Always, she's so tangled up when it comes to Jasper and wanting, needing him. Wanting every moment to last forever, wanting to make every moment faster so she can experience more, all of it.

"God," she groans, her fingers tightening in his hair, teeth sinking into her bottom lip.

His gaze flicks to her face, and the way she chews on her bottom lip, her hand tight in her hair, fanned out on the pillow.

He grins as he unhooks her legs from around his waist, as he spreads her legs wider when he continues to kiss his way down her body.

Before he settles between her thighs, and puts his mouth to her.

It's like electricity running through her at the first touch of his mouth against her. A shock, knees trembling, her hands sliding to the sheets, curling her fingers in the fabric.

It never fails, the rush of desire and love and lust that happens when he touches her, it feels new and wonderful every time. "God, Jasper," her fingers tighten in the sheets. "God, I love you."

Jasper moans at the rush of emotions from her.

The love and desire and need he feels from her is nothing new, as he feels it always from her, and yet he loves this too. Loves pleasuring her. Feeling her so unmoored as he works her with his mouth and tongue.

Her scent surrounding him, her gasps and whimpers and declarations of love -

He can’t get enough of it.

He risks a glance upward, her body sprawled out on the bed, head thrown back, fingers twisting in the sheets, and he moans again.

He shifts so he can work a hand between his body and the bed, stroking himself gently as he coaxes more moans from her.

“God,” she presses the heel of her foot into the bed, anchoring herself against the onslaught of his tongue and lips.

He makes her feel so good, so desperate and wanting and needy. Shuddering, knees and hands shaking.

“Jasper, God, shit—” Alice babbles, his name and curses falling from her lips, incoherent groans as her hips stutter up, chasing his mouth.

He pulls off of her with a gasp, pressing his forehead to her thigh as he gulps in a few deep breaths. Her need and want and desperation too much mixed with his.

“God, Alice - I love you.”

He shudders, stuttering through more expressions of his love and desire for her, as he takes her in.

She’s so beautiful and perfect and he wants her and he wants this and he wants and wants.

He crawls up her body, pressing kisses here and there, before he captures her mouth in a hungry kiss.

She moans into his mouth, wrapping herself around him, kissing him back just as hungrily. The want bubbles under her skin, as if she’s made from it, needy for him.

“I need you,” Alice whines, reaching between them, taking him in hand, stroking as she wiggles under him, positioning them both. “Inside me-now, please—“

“Alice -“

A needy whine as he moves inside of her, feeling her envelop him. Slowly at first, and then a quick jerk of his hips as he thrusts inside her completely.

He presses kisses against her lips, her cheeks, into her hair, anywhere and everywhere as he murmurs his love for her.

She cries out as he settles in her, her knees tightening at his sides as he presses kisses against her skin.

Her fingers tighten on his arms, hips tilting experimentally now that he’s fully seated within her. She feels so full, perfect, right.

“I love you,” Alice whimpers, turning her head to meet his lips, kissing him properly. Relishing the taste of him as she licks her way into his mouth.

Everything is right and perfect, and Jasper is so in love. Helplessly, hopelessly.

He kisses her back hungrily again, losing himself in the kiss, in her arms as he moves with an urgency.

The pace set is fast, desperate. Like he can’t get enough of her, because he can’t, fueled by his own need and want as much as hers.

Hand plunging into his hair, Alice’s fingers tighten in the locks again, her head thrown back into the pillows again. “God—“

She’s so close, already—his fast pace, the heavy feelings between them, they drive her closer and closer to the edge with each thrust from him.

Her teeth bite down on her bottom lip again, her hands holding Jasper’s head close to her face, her whimpers lost against his cheek, his ear.

“I love you,” he pants against her skin, mouthing at her jaw, “I love you so much.”

She clings to him in the best possible way, her legs tight around him, her hands in his hair, how she meets him thrust for thrust. They’re both so close -

“C’mon, darlin’. For me. I want you to.”

His words are a murmur, a moan, lost against her skin, as his hips meet hers again and again, chasing their release.

She whines at his words, the soft begging for her to find release. His mouth on her skin, hips meeting hers and it’s just so perfect, everything she feels welling up inside of her and—

With a gasp of his name, Alice breaks, her body clenching tight, muscles trembling, hands and knees shaking—she buries her fingers in his hair again, dragging him into a kiss to drown out her moans.

The euphoria of release pulsates through her, as she hangs onto Jasper like a lifeline, her soft noises lost to his mouth.

A few more thrusts, riding the wave of her release, and he follows, moaning into their kiss, his hips snapping to hers.

He trembles against her, with her, clutching her as she clutched his, trading kisses in the after.

Eventually he sighs happily, resting his forehead against hers.

“Sorry. That was longer than five minutes,” he says with a laugh, pressing another kiss to the corner of her mouth. “I just - needed you, all of a sudden.”

She laughs, chasing his lips for another kiss as she pushes his hair out of his face. “I’m not complaining.”

Alice rubs her nose against his cheek, her smile soft and satisfied. “I like it when you need me.”

“I know you do,” Jasper says with a smirk before kissing her soft and satisfied smile.

He rolls off her of then, sprawling beside her on the bed.

Not that he keeps his hands off of her for very long, immediately drawing her into his arms, against his chest. He kisses the top of her head.

“I love you. You’ll get tired of me saying it eventually but I love you.”

“Never,” Alice shakes her head, her cheek pillowed on his chest. She traces a scar at his side with a delicate fingertip, contemplative for a moment. “I’ll never get tired of it. A thousand and ten years from now, you’ll say it and it’ll still feel like the first time.”

She knows not to make empty promises—but she’s confident about this. There’s no possible way she’ll ever grow tired of hearing those words from him. That the words will only grow stronger in time.

“I love you,” Alice whispers, lifting her head to look at him. “More than anything else on this planet. More than clothes and that should be telling.”

“More than clothes?” Jasper exclaims playfully, teasingly. “Well, golly, now I know you love me.”

He finds her hand, entwining their fingers together and brings their joined hands to his lips, kissing her fingers gently.

“I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you - and, oh, I love you.”

He may say so lightheartedly but he means it with every fiber of his being, and she knows it too. He’s never been afraid to share his feelings with her, and he can feel her love for him so clearly too.

Her smile hurts her cheeks with how wide it blooms. The proclamations of love, and more so, the way his emotions fill her heart.

She loves him, so much. And she truly will never tire of hearing it.

Her fingers linger against his lips, twisted as they are around his. She leans forward, kissing him softly, sweetly, her smile softening against his mouth.

“I love you,” Alice whispers and it sounds like a promise. Then, her smile grows wide again. “Can I give you your present now?”
